Wine o’clock – gotta love it! And with the week I’ve been having, these words sound like heaven to me! Once I learnt that the 5.30pm meeting was rescheduled (who schedules meetings at this time really?!) I headed out the door for a pre-dinner drink at Tongue & Groove, and to meet up with some other people going to the wine dinner. It was lovely to relax, chat and enjoy my Sauvignon blanc semillon (SBS to those in the know – Ruth!). Chillax time!
The wine dinner was a lot of fun and I think I learnt a thing or two about wine. The hilarious highlight of the night was when we did a quiz on a mystery wine (a red) and I did really well. Which is surprising given I am not a red wine drinker and know nothing about wine (other than I like it or I don’t)! I just guessed and got most of the answers right
The food was delicious (it is Chairman & Yip after all) and everyone was envious of my gluten-free selections – I did really well! And I didn’t have to share. The company was great and the night went really quickly. It is true – time flies when you’re having fun.
Oh,and it was run #170 this morning – a gentle 5km jog around the ‘burb.

It sounds like you had a wonderful evening and a beautiful meal. You deserved it. Glad you chose SBS – great choice!
Looks like we have a plan when it comes to celebrating run #366. Roll on December. Will one month be enough?
