Day #2 of back spasms. Some improvement, some mobility, but still a lot of pain and achiness. Sitting is still not good, not for any length of time, and getting up and moving after being in a sitting position is unbelievably painful.
Last night was not a good night, not even with stronger painkillers. Codeine and I do not see eye to eye. It doesn’t agree with me. Codeine may help with pain but when I feel like s**** for hours after taking it, I have to wonder whether its worth it.
I had my regular massage this afternoon and it seems I will have to see the physio after all. It would appear my lumbar spine has locked up and while she could assist in releasing the muscles to a degree, she couldn’t do more work in case she aggravated the back again.
Still, even with a crappy, seized-up back I can still make a pretty good poached egg which is what I had for brekkie this morning! #lookingforpositives

Breakie does good good, unlike the back. Take care, no need to hurry this, just get better. I do feel for you, another small backward step.
