About

2011 was not a good year – too much stress, study & sickness. There was also injury & a milestone birthday that was anything but a milestone. So all in all a really crappy year.

This is why I’m taking 2012 one day at a time. This is my journey: of running, ¬†photos that mean something to me, & blogging. No dwelling in the past, no worrying about the future, but focussing on the here & now.

And I recently signed up to do the Port Macquarie 70.3 (half ironman) triathlon on 28 October 2012. This is my first triathlon in 8 years :)

This is my journey…….

You’re welcome to join me :)

I love to run too and it is a great healer (for me always has been) – best of luck on the journey! xo!

Thanks Shira. Running for me has always been a great stress reliever & is my go-to form of exercise. Always love it, always will!

Thanks :) This time I’m determined to keep blogging – everything was so much easier when I was holding myself accountable

That’s what I find too. I try not to go too long without writing something. Besides its a good way to look back over the day or week and really think about things. What worked, what didn’t, the positives and negatives, goals met or changed, etc.

Good luck with your running! I look forward to reading more about it here on your blog! – Paul

Thanks Paul. Though I am slightly hamstrung at the moment with a hammy injury. It’s more walking than running. But New York marathon is still happening.
