100 runs not out

8 Mar

I’d like to say today’s run (#100) was an amazing, awesome, spectacular run, be it in time, distance or location but it was none of these. It was a short 2km run which I did when I got home from work, just after 10pm. Prior to the running streak this was something I would never have considered but now its a case of suck it up and just do it, regardless of time. Mr N was completely unaware of me even doing this run given that he’d gone to bed earlier and was snoring when I ventured out for a run around the block, which is probably a good thing because I think he would’ve put his foot down about me venturing out late at night to run. But a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do! 🙂

Had an unplanned, impromptu coffee with Liz at lunchtime. We happened to be at the same coffee place at the same time – a wonderful coincidence and it certainly brightened up my day!

Congratulations Cathy on reaching a century of runs – amazing effort! Now into the second hundred. I do note that you didn’t run naked round Calwell Oval at 10pm tonight!! I can understand why – lol!

Because by the time she’d driven to Calwell it would have been the next day!

The Calwell streak will happen when we engage a suitable witness. It didn’t have to be the 100th run, just in celebration of it at some suitable time.

Don’t make the “suitable” witness 2fruits – he would enjoy it too much lol!

How lucky that our great coffee minds were thinking alike & just happened to be in the same place at the same time 🙂 Congrats on 100 run streak – top job!
