Back to the gym

Its been too long since I’ve been in the gym. Way too long since I’ve done any weight training. Work got in the way (story of my life this year). But this morning I returned – 11 weeks later (wow, I can’t believe its been that long). It was good to be back, doing reps and sets, a mix of free weights and pin loaded machines. Returning to the squat rack, reacquainting myself with the leg press, becoming familiar with barbell chest presses again. Yep, its been way too long.

And I also know that come tomorrow I am going to be feeling very sore! My friends DOMS will be making a house call, of that I can be sure 🙂

A short run today – day 175.
