It seems that everyone these days is having conniptions. Not getting angry, upset or hysterical, which is so yesterday. No, people are having conniptions. I have heard this word so many times in the past couple of days to describe the flap people are getting into concerning work and deadlines.

So next time someone cuts me off in traffic, or cuts in front of me in their car when I’m on my bike, or takes my parking place, or sends me something that is urgent and requires a detailed response in the next 10 minutes, I too am going to have a conniption. After all, if you can’t beat them you may as well join them!

This morning I ran before work while it was still cool. Then after work I did a bike intervals session when it wasn’t so cool. Hopefully I’ll sleep well tonight.

Tomorrow: the plan is to cycle before work.

Couple of deep breathes, it’s not the time to have another.
